Description
Deep soft -tissue hemangiomas may cause changes in adjacent bones. The exact mechanism leading to these changes remains unknown, and soft-tissue hemangiomas causing bony deformity have been reported rarely. Herein, we present a case of angular deformity of the distal ulna caused by intramuscular hemangioma in a 7-year-old boy. After a marginal resection of the hemangioma and involved tissue, the angular deformity of the distal ulna was corrected by a closed wedge osteotomy at the medial side of the ulna, and plate and screw Wxation was performed. There was no radiological and clinical evidence of recurrence.
