Description
A 30-year-old man was referred to our center for pulmonic valve replacement. He had a history of total correction of the Tetralogy of Fallot with an right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) patch 18 years previously. His chest was bulged at the upper part, on which right ventricular heave could be palpated (Fig. 1a). Chest X-ray showed a severely enlarged heart shadow, and computed tomography (CT) scan showed a severely enlarged RVOT, measuring approximately 7 cm (Fig. 2). The patient underwent surgery, during which his chest was opened at mid-sternum, the RVOT aneurysm excised (Fig. 1b), and the pulmonic valve replaced. The patient’s recovery period was uneventful
