Description
Sirs, Renal involvement in psoriasis is rare. However, the term psoriatic nephropathy has been debated several times. Mesangioproliferative glomerulopathy with and without IgA deposits, renal amyloidosis, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis, membranous nephropathy, and lipoprotein glomerulopathy have been reported in patients with psoriasis. Quarenghi et al. have postulated gold therapy as a cause of crescentic glomerulonephritis (CrGN) in a patient of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) with membranous nephropathy [1]. Recently, Menè et al. have reported a case of extracapillary crescentric glomerulonephritis due to etanercept treatment in a patient of PsA [2]. Here we report a case of ANCA-negative pauci-immune CrGN complicating PsA.
