RemindMe is a pretty simple utility that runs in the system tray and provides notifications whenever something needs your attention. You can set up multiple reminders and even create complex schedules.
Helpful desktop reminders that you can’t miss
When creating a reminder, you can enter a custom message, specify when the notifications should be displayed and whether or not they should be repeated. Moreover, it is possible to load an audio file if you wish a sound alert to be played.
The reminder can either be configured to remain on top of all other windows or start up minimized. Once it is displayed, you can also postpone the reminder if you just can’t interrupt your current task.
The UI is noticeably out-of-date
As far as the user interface is concerned, a redesign would be very welcome. The application is far from eye-catching in its current state, although it has to be said that its layout is quite intuitive.
It would help if users at least had the option of customizing the look of the desktop reminders, which is something we hope will be addressed in future updates.
