CAESES یکی از نرم افزارهای قدرتمند در زمینه شبیهسازی و دینامیک سیالات محاسباتی بوده که قادر است تا معادلات جریان و مسائل محاسباتی را به روشهای عددی مورد حل قرار دهد. این نرم افزار همچنین از قابلیت طراحی دقیق سطوح برخوردار بوده و برای طراحی و مطالعات پارامتریک بسیار کاربرد دارد. این نرم افزار قابلیت تعریف هندسههای پیچیده که قبل از تعریف باید دفرم شوند را به خوبی داراست و با ارائه یک محیط گرافیکی سهبعدی به مهندسین امکان تعریف دقیق مدل را میدهد. این نرم افزار از انعطافپذیری بالایی برخوردار بوده و این امکان وجود دارد تا در هر مرحله از طراحی و شبیهسازی بتوان معادلات به دست آمده را وارد فاز محاسباتی کرد و نتایج را لحظه به لحظه زیر ذرهبین قرار داد. این نرم افزار همچنین از امکانات اتوماسیون زیادی جهت خودکارسازی بسیاری از شبیهسازیها بهرهمند است.
