Description
The WAsP Climate Analyst is a program which performs analyses on
time-series of meteorological data. The results of these analyses
are summaries which describe some aspect of the climate.
This program replaces the WAsP OWC Wizard, a wizard-style utility
program released in 1999, which generated observed wind climates
(*.tab/*.owc files) for use in WAsP.
The WAsP Climate Analyst is more powerful and flexible, and (we
hope) easier to use. In addition to calculating OWCs, it supports
the generation of observed extreme wind climates (OEWCs) for use
in WAsP Engineering 2.0. We hope to introduce new kinds of
analysis in later versions.
