Based on Windows SharePoint Services, Microsoft Business Portal 2.0
provides role-based access to information and processes from a single
Web-based portal, integrating seamlessly with Microsoft Great Plains
and Microsoft Solomon to deliver applications, information, and
processes to employees, customers, and partners across the
organization. The Business Portal SDK can be used to develop
applications that can be deployed via the Business Portal, taking
advantage of the user access and security systems inherent in
Business Portal. Microsoft Business Solution-Great Plains Release 7.0
or 7.5 must be installed prior to installing Business Portal. Prior
to installation, please refer to the Business Portal installation
guide.
